Daniel Baldwin Sr. passed away January 1, 2018. He was a husband, father, grandfather, uncle, friend, mentor, airman, public servant, entrepreneur, world traveler, hard worker, storyteller, and above all else, a man of great integrity, perseverance, optimism, and faith. He loved to laugh, enjoyed discussing issues, never met a stranger, and never had so little that he couldn't share it with others. He was a generous and kind soul who left the world a better place than he found it.
Daniel was a public servant for nearly 40 years, both in the Air Force, where he retired as a Chief Master Sergeant (achieved by only 1% Air Force-wide), and with the Treasury Department, where he retired as a Revenue Officer. He was a life-long learner and earned two Bachelor's Degrees in Business Administration and History. He was a 33rd Degree Mason who served as Past Worshipful Master for Martin Luther King Lodge and Past Grand Master of St. James Grand Lodge. He was also a member of the Liberty United Supreme Council. He worshipped at the United Church of the Living God.
Daniel is loved and will be forever missed by his devoted wife Kay, children Donna (Terry), Daniel Jr. (Mandy), Linda (Kevin) and Sandra (Peter), grandchildren Daniel III, Isaac, Xackari, Adam, Christina, Nicklas and Samuel, sister Hattie, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
