Darrel was born in Ontario,CA and lived in Hemet for 8 years. He worked as a plant superintendent for over 32 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He enjoyed riding Harleys & flying small aircrafts. He will be truly missed by all who had the honor to have known and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Adrianne Hunt; children Eric R. (Wendy) Hunt, Eric L. Starling; 3 grandchildren, Kirstyn, Kelsey, Daisy; 1 great-gradchild, Shaylee Rae.
Arrangements are being handled by Miller-Jones Mortuary. Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 11:00am, at Christ the Vine Lutheran Church, 29581 N. General Kearny Rd., Temecula, CA 92591. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ramona VNA & Hospice, or Cedar House Rehabilitation Center, 18612 Santa Ana Ave, Bloomington, CA 92316.
