Donald Lee Holland

February 2nd, 1953 to January 29th, 2018

Donald "Don" Lee Holland, 64, passed away on January 29th in Cherry Valley, California with family by his side. He was born February 2nd, 1953 in Astoria, Oregon to Harold and Joy Holland and lived in many states and in Germany. Don attended many schools due to his father's military service. As an adult he settled in Garden Grove, California for a number of years.

He is survived by his son Garett Holland his wife Kimberley of Colorado, his father Harold Holland of San Diego, his sister Belinda Rice her husband Jeff of Hemet, his sister Karen Thomas of Hemet, his brother Loyd Holland his wife Sherrie of Hemet, as well as his many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Don loved family gatherings, his family and friends were very dear to him.

Don worked many years in the Aerospace industry as a machinist and enjoyed his work. In his spare time he enjoyed playing tennis, fast cars, automobile shows, sports, going to the movies, camping, water skiing and boating. His son was his pride and joy. Don loved all the visits and special times they had together. His only regret was never having enough time with his son. He shared to others how proud and honored he was to have such a successful, intelligent, caring and loving son.

Friends and family will gather on Saturday, February 10th, 2018 at 1 PM at the Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet, 1501 West Florida Ave., Hemet, California 92543.
