

Edward E. Cameron, 81, born in Santa Rosa, California on July 11, 1933, passed away on January 19, 2015 with his family at his side. He is survived by Betty, his wife of 60 years, his 3 children Ed, Mark and Linda, along with their spouses Deborah, Laurie and Ron, along with his 7 grandchildren - Chad, Bruce, Chase, Stephanie, Ashley, Breanna and Kaitie, as well as 3 great-grandchildren Grace, Isaiah and Evan. Ed proudly served our country for more than 21 years in the Air Force, retiring as a Lt. Colonel. He served in the Vietnam and Korean wars, and he was awarded the Bronze Star for his service. He enjoyed flying the B-36 in his early years of service. He traveled the world for the Air Force as part of the Flight Safety Division. Ed and Betty loved and appreciated the opportunity to see the world both while Ed was in the Air Force and after he retired. After retiring from the Air Force, Ed worked for the Special Districts division for San Bernardino County, where he worked 10 years. Ed and Betty then moved to Hemet, California. Ed enjoyed playing golf and visiting his children and grandchildren. Ed loved woodworking and was known as "Mr. Fix-it" in the neighborhood.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the CJD Foundation.
