Edward James Henderson passed away at the age of 86, on Sunday, December 19, 2021, Highland, California. He was born to Robert Henderson and Mildred E. (O’Conner) Henderson, on Friday, August 2, 1935, in Cleveland, Ohio.
Edward proudly served in the US Army for three years and in the US Air Force for one year. After obtaining his Associates, he went on to become a successful lead worker for the California Department of Transportation (Cal Trans) for 24 years. While balancing his career, Edward was an amazing and dedicated husband. He met his soul mate, Patricia Henderson, at a support group in Riverside, California, and became best friends. They have been blessed with 30 wonderful years. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his wife and his fur baby, Mitzy. Edward was a kind-hearted, generous person who would help anyone in need. He was an unforgettable man who served as a pillar of strength for others. His love for his family was beyond measure and he will forever be loved and missed.
