Emil James Meier was born in Kentucky on February 7, 1924 to Emil and Loula Meier. Emil was married to Maria Meier for many years and had a son together, John Meier. Emil was a machinist who loved his work. Family and friends say he was a hardworking man who enjoyed a round of golf and playing poker. Emil served his county during WWII in the Marine Corp from 1944 to 1944. He was awarded the riffle marksman award in 1942. Emil Meier was a great husband and father who will be missed but not forgotten.
