Ernest Wayne Davis, 74 of Homeland, California passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at home surrounded my family. He was born on Tuesday, March 20, 1945 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and was the son of the late Cecil and Clara Davis. He was married to the love of his life, Jeanne Davis. Earnest loved to bowl and did in fact bowl a perfect game. He also enjoyed fishing in the ocean and the local lakes including Reflection lake where he caught a 2 foot trout. Earnest did like to take walks around the neighborhood for exercise. His family describe him as personable and gentle and he loved his family. Surviving is his wife Jeanne Davis, son, Ernest Davis Jr. and daughter, Amber Toups ( John ); brother Richard Davis ( Cammie ) and 6 grandchildren..
A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday February 11, 2020 at Miller-Jones Hemet Mortuary located at 1501 W Florida Ave Hemet, California 92544.
