

Ernest RUGGIERI better known as "Hugh" passed away at age 73, on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, in Loma Linda, California. He was born to Peter Paul and Lena Mae Blackwood; he was one of two children. He graduated from Perris High School in 1964. After attending college a few years and traveling and working all around the United States, he went to become a successful business owner in Hemet and Redlands with RUGGIERI Financial. While balancing his business, he was also an amazing loving husband and dedicated father. Hugh was married for 55 wonderful years to the love of his life and his best friend Linda RUGGIERI. They were blessed with three sons that would later make Hugh a grandfather, which was one of his favorite titles. He was a hard-working and strong man who served as a pillar of strength for others. His love for his family was unconditional. He was survived by his loving wife, Linda; his sons, Anthony RUGGIERI, of Scottsdale, Arizona; Jeffrey RUGGIERI, of Mesa, Arizona; and Randy RUGGIERI, of Boulder, Colorado; five wonderful grandchildren, Zachary, Chandler, Christian, Natalie, and Danielle; and his brother, Paul RUGGIERI, of Hemet, California Hugh loves baseball and fishing and his place at Lostlake in Blythe, California and Mexico. His puppies were his joy. He was instrumental in rebuilding Hemet youth baseball back in 1996. Serving as vice president for more than 15 years this is where he gave 100% to the youth of our valley and created many lifelong friendships. Hugh had a way of listening to people. He never knew a stranger. He was so unselfish with his time and his words of encouragement and his love for others. He truly made an impact on many many lives. He will be missed by so many. The family will be holding a private memorial at a letter date.
