Passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020 in Menifee, California; he was born on August 25, 1927 in Cambridge, Massachusetts to the late Thorleif and Astri (Aurich) Helgesen.
Frank served his country in the US Navy during WWII. He was a rural route carrier for the US Postal Service for 30 years. He enjoyed golfing, loved to swim, pools, lakes and oceans. He also loved telling stories and playing dominoes.
He is survived by his loving wife Barbara; his daughter and her family Nancy (Robert) Romero; seven grandchildren.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 11am at Miller-Jones Mortuary Menifee. A service to follow at 12noon. There will be a reception to follow at The Miller-Jones reception center. Interment will be private at Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside, California.
