Garey Dale Smith, age 90, of Hemet, California passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023. Garey was born on September 1, 1933 in Los Angeles, California. He was the son of the late Floyd B Smith and the late Elizabeth Ann Smith.
Garey served our country proudly in the Air Force. He was a Deputy Sheriff for 10 years.
Garey is survived by his wife, Evelyn Joanne Smith; his son Garey D Smith Jr.; and his step son Blake Bushman.
A funeral service for Garey will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at McWane Family Funeral Home, 350 N San Jacinto St., Hemet, CA 92543. Garey will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518.
