Gary Keith Baldwin

Gary Keith Baldwin was born on December 5th, 1958 to Samuel and Esther Baldwin in Pasadena, California. He was the 4th child of 7 children. Gary grey up in Pasadena before the family relocated to Santa Ana, California. There, Gary attended McFadden Intermediate School and Santa Ana Valley High School in which he graduated from in 1977.

Gary had a strong love for music and electronics. While in high school, he created a band in the family garage where he was a talented singer and guitar player. Gary welcomed many of his friends to come to the house and sing in his band. This helped produced some professional singers in the industry. Gary’s love for music was made evident by his abundant collection of hundreds of Albums consisting of all the great 70s and 80s Rhythm and Blues singers.

While working full time and supporting his growing family, Gary had an unwavering work ethic, managing to Graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from California State University, Fullerton in 1989. In his spare time, Gary was an avid gamer and proved to be a tough, competitive opponent in everything from Poker and Chess, to Bowling and X-Box. Although most of his hobbies were confined indoors, he discovered a passion for flying the sunny skies as a licensed Remote Control (RC) Aircraft Pilot.

Gary passed away on Friday, January 6th, 2023 surrounded by his family and love ones. Gary is survived by his wife, Nina and two children, Branden (Vanity) and Jacy (Melanie). He is, also, survived by his sisters, Tawanda (Raymond), Cherie (Kelvin), and Estrilla (Jonathan); his brothers, Samuel Jr., Derek, and Randy (Juanita), along with abundance of nieces and nephews; and his four grandchildren, Nubiah, Tai, Eli, and Noah. Gary was predeceased by his father, Samuel Baldwin.
