Gary A John

Gary A John, 73 volunteer sheriff, former Army/ Navy man and socialite of Hemet, California passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California. He was born on Saturday, October 7, 1939 in Los Angeles and was the son of the late Allan and Carol John. Gary was very active with the police department working with the District Attorney, Bail investigations, and accident control. He loved collecting M & M memorabilia, dancing and all sorts of music including his hand in karaoke. Gary liked to watch sports and his teams were the Los Angeles Angles and Oakland Raiders and a very big fan of nascar racing . He was very social at his park and liked to be involved in all the scheduled activities. Gary was not a stranger to the local casinos and he liked some in Arizona too. His family describes him as very social, caring, generous, and liked to share his opinion at times. He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed. Surviving are daughters, Carrie Fortney and Partner Sky King, Kathleen Huitron and Husband Jose and Pamela Morgan and Husband Ed also by a Sister Susan Brown and Partner Jan, 16 grandchildren, and 1 great granddaughter .
