Gertrude Ann Christensen was born in Hamtramck, Michigan on March 17, 1923 and passed away on April 21, 2012. She was raised in Detroit, Michigan. She was the oldest of five, having 2 sisters and 2 brothers. She lived most of her 67 years of marriage in Orange County, CA with the last 27 years of residence in Lake Elsinore/Wildomar.
Gertie worked most of her adult years as a lab tech and credit clerk. The last years of employment were spent assisting in the family business. In March 2011 she was preceded in death by her spouse of nearly 68 years, Donald C. Christensen. She is survived by 2 daughters and spouses, 4 grandchildren and spouses and 9 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers and many nieces and nephews.
