Gregorio L. Garcia, age 84, of Menifee, CA, was called home to be with the Lord on May 19, 2020. Gregorio was born in Cidra, Puerto Rico, to the late Eustaquio Luna and Mercedes Garcia. Gregorio came to New York City at the age of 16, moved to Chicago, IL for a few years, raised his children in Indiana, and finally retired to CA.
Gregorio worked at a textile factory, Simmons Mattress factory, Republic Steel, Lear Railroad, and retired from the City of East Chicago Filtration Plant. He was very involved in the Catholic Church, volunteering as a Eucharistic Minister. Greg was an avid golfer and bowler, whose favorite past time was spending time with his lovely wife, Myriam, and their family.
He is survived by his wife, Myriam Garcia, of 64 years, a son, Gregory (Josie) Garcia, a daughter, Yvette (Ted) Vigil, grandchildren; Monica (Steph) Miller, Kelci (Alex) Walker, Steven Garcia, Ashley Vigil, and Holly Vigil, two sisters Santty (Alfredo) Vaquera and Maria Hernandez.
He was proceeded in death by brothers Andres Luna, Angel Luna, and Adrian Luna.
