She was born on Sunday, November 30, 1924 in Alhambra, CA, to her late mother and father Archibald and Rita Johnson.
Helen was a loving mother and wife, she enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking. She was a beautiful and smart woman who always did what she could to look her best when going out. While out shopping one day, a young woman went up to her and asked if she was a movie star because she was so beautiful.
She also loved animals and commercials with animals in them, and she adored her daughter’s chihuahua, Stanley. Helen also enjoyed old cars, like the Model T and Model A, and she enjoyed knitting. Her daughter affectionately called her “knit wit.” She was an artist and liked painting with watercolors.
Helen will be missed by all of those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by daughter, Kathleen Martin, son, Steven Boyle, sister, Rosalie Windburn, 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Inurnment will be at Riverside National Cemetery where she will be placed with her late husband, Martin Boyle.
