Ignacia Garcia Mendiola, 74 of Hemet, California passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at ManorCare Health Services-Hemet in Hemet, California. She was born on Wednesday, January 25, 1939. Ignacia loved to garden and enjoyed all green plants. She attended church regularly and appreciated the fellowship and friendships she made. Ignacia liked to play Bingo and liked the excitement it created. She loved her grandchildren and liked to play board games and card games. Ignacia was an excellent cook and was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Her family describes her as beautiful and honest, however stubborn at times and enjoyed sharing her opinion. She was the one person in the family that would always listen to your problems and sometimes give wonderful advice. She will be sorely missed by her family and all who knew her. Surviving are son, Joe Mendiola, daughter, Blanca Mendiola, sisters Beatriz Condey and Ramona Garcia, grandchildren Alfredo Mendiola, Jose Alfredo Mendiola, and Isaac Mendiola. Services will be held privately.
