Jackie was truly a loving selfless person she is missed

Sent a gift in memory of Jacquelyn Edwina Daniel

I was Jackie's stepdaughter.  She was married to our Dad, Redman Darvell "Dan" (Williams) Daniel for 20 years. Upon their marriage, us five were added to her family, alongside her two sons Dan and Paul. Although none of us were hers biologically, she loved us and treated us as though we were her own:heart_eyes::kissing_heart:🥰.  We had fun times and a lot of great family times!  
     Jackie was all about the family!  She hosted many of our family gatherings for a whole lot of years.  She LOVED TO COOK and she was very good at it!  This was quite the added bonus for all of us.
     In my high school years and early 20s she was always introducing me to new things! Because of Jackie's time with her first husband in Germany, I learned that schnitzel, bratwurst, and onions were a very tasty things.  Because of their Japanese exchange student, I learned that glass noodle salad is not only delicious, but fun to eat.  Speaking of eating, Jackie and I love to eat! Whenever she and I got together, we were almost always eating something 🤣:joy:.
     I liked it, when I became little older and got to introduce Jackie to new things also. She was always up for a new experience or adventure!  I remember when I got to take her on a trip to San Francisco where we toured Alcatraz, ate our way through the city, and especially enjoyed the gelato and Ghirardelli shops! 
     Jackie taught me many important things that my Mom didn't get the chance to teach me.  Things like how to use a toilet seat cover, pluck unwanted facial hairs while looking in the car rear view mirror (The lighting is often perfect), start using face moisturizer by the time you're at least 20, and how to shove piles of things around the house into cabinets before the guests arrive 🤣:joy:...oh wait, that's still something my husband wishes I'd learned.
     Jackie loved CHRISTmas! Our Dad was afraid she would bankrupt them, because I come from a family of five kids, plus Jackie's two kids, then there's grandkids after them. For several years Jackie would buy something for everybody. She loved to give gifts because she was such a generous person.
    Jackie was quite the social girl and she loved birthdays...ESPECIALLY HER OWN!  In her latter years, Jackie had two separate HUGE birthday parties, where friends and family from the majority of her life span were invited.  One of those parties was her 80th party.  Good times were always had by all.
     Fashion...oh boy did Jackie love it! She would always put together great ensembles that included just the right shoes, earrings, necklace, rings, bracelets & scarves to go with her outfit. She used to own Fashion Crossroads on Harvard Street in Hemet (where Downtown Deli is now located).  She loved that place, and ministered to many people through it.
     On the topic of love, she loved all of us deeply and we loved her back!  She wasn't afraid to invest her time or talents into people, even strangers. But then again, she never knew a stranger. Jackie also loved our Savior, Jesus! She served Him through music ministry, discipling a younger woman and sharing about Him with those who did not know Jesus.
     I would have to say that Jackie's favorite thing to do was singing. She's sang in  high school and she also sang at many different places with the Madrigal Choir.  Our Dad loved to go along on all these trips, so he could sit for hours listening to them sing and have fun with all of Jackie's friends, who also became his friends.
     You are loved Jackie, and we miss you dearly :heart_eyes::kissing_heart:🥰

I knew her as Mom, she made mine and my brother Paul’s childhood a great one. She made sure we were introduced to all things good. Mom made sure we appreciated the people in our lives we always felt safe and loved.

She was a lovely person to be around I loved talking to her when I would come visit my parents always wanted them to have a great trip when they would go in there RV I do miss her a lot. A lovely lady RIP
