

James M. Vineyard, 72, resident of Temecula, CA, passed away peacefully in Temecula Valley Hospital on February 18, 2021, next to his wife, children and brothers and sister. He was born in Highland Park, MI on December 5, 1948. His parents were Joseph and Thelma Vineyard. Jim was the middle sibling of 6 brothers and 4 sisters. He married his high school sweetheart and soul mate, Delores Vineyard on May 16, 1970 in Putnam, Ontario, Canada. He leaves behind his daughter, Sherry and son, Michael and granddaughter Delores Elena.
In November 1970, he completed his carpentry apprenticeship and was certified by the United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners of America. In 1971, Jim was drafted into the United States Marine Corp as an Aircraft Mechanic. He served his country for 20 years and was often referred to as "Gunny" and "Top," Once a Marine Always a Marine, Semper Fi!
God gifted Jim with talented hands, which allowed him to pursue his true passion in commercial framing and cabinetry. He had a love for smoking meats in his Traeger and Rving in the United States and Canada.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Paralyzed Veterans of America at www.pva.org. Thank you to all of the wonderful friends and family who brought so much love and happiness into Jim's life.
Memorial service and military honors will be on March 12 at 9:45am at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA.
