Born Tuesday, September 4, 1962 in Anaheim, California, he was the son of the late Charles Bachman and the late Donna Bachman. He was the husband of Lisa Bachman, whom he was married to for 30 years.
Jay grew up in Anaheim, CA and graduated from Loara High School. He met his wife, Lisa, when they were working together at Target. After getting married, they moved to the Inland Empire where he was a self-employed business owner working in the window/carpet cleaning business.
He was very family-oriented, and he could strike up a conversation with anyone he met. His kind, funny, and generous personality touched many hearts over the years. He will always be remembered as the person you could count on for a laugh or a kind word, someone to listen, the kind of man that would give you the shirt of his back if you needed it.
Jay was a passionate sports fan, his favorite teams were the Angels and the Denver Broncos. He also liked to go to the beach to watch the sunset and taking long drives.
Surviving are wife, Lisa Bachman, son, Corbin Bachman, daughter, Sydney Nicole Peterson and shared daughter, Amber Wagner Smith, brothers, Donald Bachman and David Bachman, sister, Rae Anne Gurthridge and grandchildren Carson Bachman and Charlie Peterson.
