Jean was called to be with our Lord on May 8th. Miss Johnson was born in Los Angeles, April 21, 1912. She was a Word War II Marine veteran. She received a Master's degree from Talbot School of Theology.
Jean's first love was our Lord. Her passion was teaching children about the Lord. Jean's smile, you could see joy for the Lord and the glow from His love.
Jean loved the ocean, trees, nature, animals...everything God created.
Miss Johnson was a member of the First Baptist Church - Sun City.
Jean is survived by her nephew, Calvin Johnson, and his wife, Sharon; nephews, Earl, Roy, Julian and Richard; nieces, Danielle, Carol, Patsy; two special friends, Beverly Fisher and Mark and Jeanne Badgett. And one person who will love and cherish her forever.
A graveside service will be at 1:01 PM on Tuesday, May 19th at Riverside National Cemetery, staging area #5
A memorial service will be held for Miss Johnson on Saturday, May 23rd at 10:00 AM in the First Baptist Church - Sun City, 29029 Murrieta Road, Sun City, California
