Jean' Orpha Proteau (Jean' Pierre), age 76 passed away peacefully on January 22, 2018 on board The Carnival Splendor while cruising to the Panama Canal. Jean' was a frequent cruiser and is survived by his partner of 45 years, Pat Shearer. They had taken over 35 cruises together in the past 6 years. Currently, they own Elite Flowers in Hemet California, and have lived in Hemet for 25 years. Jean' was extremely skilled in floral design, and his work is well known throughout the Valley.
Jean' is also survived by his two brothers, Marc Proteau, and Gillis (Nicole) Proteau, both of Montreal, Canada.
