

He was born on August 8, 1944 to Jose Jesus Vega-Reyes and Maria de Jesus-Ordaz in Jiquilpan, Michoacan and he is survived by not only his family but also the countless people he has met in his life.
Due to working at such a young age, he had to stop his schooling to help his family financially.
Jesus Vega was the third child out of eight brothers and sisters. This motivated him to find a job when he was younger working as a Tailor. From this job he learned that he loved working in the garment industry. His love for clothes and fashion stuck with him throughout his life and could be seen during the holidays and special occasions when he wore his best outfits.
During his free time, he can be seen watching Lucha Libre and taking his four children to the beach. He was an outdoorsman in his younger life and his children remember his love for the water and dressing lavishly.
Jesus worked for Kaiser in the environmental services department. He worked there for roughly thirty years.
His grandchildren remember his enjoyment of watching novelas, taking them to McDonald's, being at their sporting games, and dragging them early in the morning to the mall to walk around. He even had a legend to go with him as "The man who can walk on water but not through screen doors".
If there is one thing everyone can remember about Jesus was his old brown Toyota Corolla with some of the paint chipping off. He would drive that car to just about anywhere and it was his ol' reliable
