Joan Carol Sanchez, 85 of Hemet, California passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2015. She was born Tuesday, December 17, 1929 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late John Bartlett and Margaret Elm Bartlett. Joan is survived by her son, Mark Hayes of Hemet, CA, daughter, Margaret (Steve) Nemetz of Greensburg, PA, grandchild, Jesse Nemetz, and sister, Beverly Lovejoy.
Joan was married to her first husband, Walter H. Hayes, in 1951, and married Christopher P. Sanchez in 1980. When Joan wasn't busy being a homemaker she was a legal secretary at a law firm. Joan loved spending time with her family, decorating, traveling and entertaining. One of her favorite destinations was Cabo San Lucas. However, one her very favorite things to do was to go out dancing with her husband, Chris. She was also a member of the Happy Harmonizers in Hemet, CA. Joan was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing her. Interment will be at Riverside National Cemetery alongside her late husband, Christopher.
