

Joanna (Jodi) Lynn Blatt was born in Adventist Hospital in Glendale CA on Feb 26, 1948. Jodi was raised in Hemet, CA with her parents, Sid and Jane Acton, and ten siblings. She was a graduate of Hemet High School, and was crowned Miss Hemet in the Miss Hemet Pageant in 1965. A good student, Jodi attended UC Riverside, and was a teacher for a number of years in the public schools. Jodi loved the community and spirituality of her Church home, Pilgrim Congregational Church in Hemet, and enjoyed singing in the choir.
Jodi is survived by her daughter, Angela Wales, and was preceded in death by her dearly beloved husband Jerry Blatt and her son, John Charles Price.
She is also survived by her siblings; Scott Acton, Gayle Margherio , Shelley Hanlon, Luana Acton Layefski, Jon Christopher Acton, Michael Acton, James K. Edward’s-Acton and Joseph K. Acton. She is preceded in death by her older sister Penni Jane Gerstler, and her younger brother Peter Kim Acton.
Services will be conducted virtually. In lieu of flowers the Acton family requests any donations be sent to The Muscular Dystrophy Association ( MDA) or The Bread Basket Food Pantry at 2385 S. SAN JACINTO AVE.
