Johnny was born October 29, 1935 in Etiwanda, CA, the fifth child to Sicilian immigrants Tony and Vera (Mandella) Pizzuto. Helping care for his family's fruit and vegetable farm, Johnny embodied hard work and tenacity from a young age. After graduating from Chaffee High School, Johnny served in the United States Army, including a tour to South Korea in peacetime. Johnny returned to settle in Rancho Cucamonga, California where he met Wynaith Jonice Morris. They were wed on December 20, 1958 and welcomed their son, Phillip, the following year.
Much of Johnny's life was centered around building. He mastered a lifelong trade of plumbing and dedicated himself to countless other impressive projects. But Johnny was also a master of building relationships. Wherever he went, Johnny could always be found at the center of attention and the source of great laughter. He had a gift for bringing friends and family together for magnificent barbecues and uproarious boating trips. Johnny will be remembered for his selflessness, strength, sarcasm, and smile. But most of all, his legacy will be that of a family built from a foundation of his love.
Preceded in death by his parents Tony and Vera, and brothers Pete, George, and Vince, Johnny is survived by his wife Wynaith, sister Lucille, brother Sam, son Phillip, daughter-in-law Heather, and grandchildren Taylor and Sarah.
