

Kenneth Boyd Howe, 92 of San Jacinto, California passed away on Monday, October 6, 2014, at San Jacinto Healthcare in Hemet, California. He was born on Saturday, May 6, 1922, and was the son of Kenneth and Henrietta Howe. Ken was a dedicated family man. Although his occupation with Honeywell as a computer engineer required him to move every few years he taught his boys how to make new friends, adapt to new environments, and accept change. Ken loved music and played the saxophone in big bands at an early age. Later in life, he enjoyed playing music at home for family and friends. He also was a bugler in the Army. In his retirement years he and Rose Marie traveled North American in a motor home and visited many beautiful sights around our country. He taught the boys many life lessons, one of the most important was "Always be respectful of others and have a goal in life". His family describes him as honest, giving, unselfish, enjoyed helping others in need and at times like to share his opinion. Surviving are sons, Daniel Howe (Kay), Gary Howe (Carol) James Howe (Sharon), and John Howe (Sandy); brothers, William F Howe (Joanne) and John Howe (Gloria), 8 grand children and 14 great grand children. Preceded in death was his wife Rose Marie, sister Barbara Fabina and brother Robert Howe.
A Funeral service with Military Honors will be at 2:15 PM on Wednesday at Riverside National Cemetery, staging area # 4 located at 22495 Van Buren Boulevard Riverside, California 92518
