Kenneth Brian Stroud, 62, of Murrieta, California passed away on Friday, August 15, 2014. He was born in Virginia on January 28, 1952 to the late Cecil Howard Stroud and the late Marrietta Concetta (Raffael) Stroud.
Ken served in the Marine Corps from 1971 to 1975. Upon returning to the U.S. he started a wallpaper company which he owned and operated for over 20 years. Ken was a skilled handyman whose garage was filled with every tool imagineable. He was also an avid music lover, and particularly fond of blues guitar and classic rock. But Ken's truest dedication was to his family. He was endlessly devoted to his late wife Lauren, whom he cared for until her passing. Ken could always be counted on to lend a hand, help with a project, or just be good company. For his own recreation, Ken enjoyed going to the movies, dabbling on the guitar, and watching boxing and ultimate fighting.
He is survived by his children Lisa Smith, David Smith, and Amy Black, as well as five grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at 10:15 AM on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Riverside National Cemetery located at 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, California 92518.
