Laura Jean Wilson

Laura is survived by her son, Elliot Wilson of San Diego, Ca, brothers Don Patterson (Stephanie) of St. Helens, Or, Gary Patterson (Therese) of Corvallis, Or, sister Nancy Yates (Bryan) of Roseburg, Or.,special friend John Cart and former husband Michael Wilson. She is preceded in death by her parents Paul and Eleanor Patterson of Grants Pass, Or.

Laura was born on December 2, 1957 in St. Petersburg Florida and moved with her family to Oregon when she was 3 years old. She graduated from Grants Pass High School in 1976. Laura married Michael Wilson, a contractor, in 1979 and soon moved to Escondido, Ca where Laura worked as a paralegal for several years. Work eventually took her to Murrieta Ca where she continued working, most recently for F-19 Holdings, LLC as a human resource administrator.

Laura loved camping trips to the Oregon Coast and Redwoods as a child and continued her love of nature's beauty with trips to Yosemite, Grand Canyon and Zion National Parks. She loved snorkeling in Hawaii and watching the Elephant seals in Cambria. Laura was a spiritual person who lived life with kindness and a gentle nature. Her many friends and family will miss her greatly and will long cherish their memories of her.
