Born Saturday, June 3, 1933 in Illinois. She worked as a legal secretary for the City of Santa Ana for 17 years. She loved to shop and play the slots at the local casinos. Lela was very supportive to her kids and really enjoyed playing with her grand kids. She loved country music and her favorite artist was Vince Gill. Lela had a big doll collection and liked to collect jewelry . She liked to read Dean Coons, and work crossword puzzles.
Surviving are daughters, Merrijo Davison ,Shelly Turl and Suzanne Burns, sons Richard Davison, Jay Davison, and Jim Davison, sisters Mary Lou Castle and Norma Beech. 16 grand children; 11 great grand children. Preceding in death are her parents Thaddeaus Pickel and Lela Pickel
