Letitia "Tish" Ann Johnson

Born Monday, November 16, 1936 in Elkhart, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late John Cardinale and the late Leah Dell (Lintz) Cardinale. She was the wife of Gerald “Jerry” Johnson, whom she was married to for 46 years, just celebrating their wedding anniversary on Memorial Day.

Tish loved spending time with her family. She was a wonderful and loving wife to her husband, Jerry, and a wonderful mother to her children and grandmother to her grand-kids.

She also enjoyed gardening and traveling. Tish logged 86,000 miles on the back of Jerry’s motorcycle as they traveled all across the U.S. over the years.

Tish was also an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hemet.

Surviving are husband, Jerry Johnson, son, Ralph (Loretta) J. Johnson, daughter, Letitia (Chris) A. Miller, son, Eric (Evelyn) B. Johnson, daughter, Kimberly (Michael) A. Lewis, brothers, Patrick (Karen) Cardinale and Mike (Jackie) Cardinale, sisters, Cathie (Doug) Brown Leah Dimkitch, Mary (Tom) Barry, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her brother John G. Cardinale.

A memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 191 S. Columbia St., Hemet, California 92544, on June 11, 2019 at 1:00 PM.
