Lonzetta Pierre

Lonzetta Pierre, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, friend and daughter of Ocie Fearence and Lucille Davis Fearence was born July 12, 1939 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Lonzetta relocated to Moreno Valley, California with her husband, James Pierre and Children in 1970. She accepted Christ and was baptized at the ShilohBaptistChurch in Louisiana at an early age. Lonzetta was a member of Cross Word Christian Church in MorenoValley. She loved to sing "Precious Lord", which was her favorite song. Her hobbies were spending time with her family, friends, cooking and serving the Lord.

On Sunday, November 21, 2010, she was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Preceding her in death are her parents and nine siblings. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, James Pierre; five children, Wanda Anderson, Stanley Pierre, Michelle Pierre, Derek Pierre and Dennis Pierre; Nine grandchildren, Derek Jr., Jermain, Uranea, Stan Jr., Kristen, Arsineo, Dominique, Mason, and Isaiah; and one great grandchild, Rshaun. She will forever be remembered for her love and kindness to everyone. She will always be in our hearts.Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Miller-Jones Moreno Valley Mortuary located at 23618 Sunnymead Blvd., Moreno Valley, California, 92553 where a Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Cross WordsChristian Church on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Riverside National Cemetery.
