Louis Moreno

Louis Moreno, Jr., 75, of Moreno Valley, CA, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, CA. Born on December 17, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY; he was the son of the late Louis Moreno, Sr. and Conchita Moreno.

Known by his family and friends as "Louie," he was a beloved husband of 54 years and loving father. Preceded in passing by his son, Louis Moreno III, and sister, Priscilla Rowan, Louie is survived by his wife Jacqueline Moreno; children, Lisa Gonzales, John Moreno, Michael Moreno, Mitchell Moreno, Rodney Moreno, Richard Moreno, and Matthew Moreno; siblings, Ralph Moreno, Richard Moreno, Linda Borscani, Robert Moreno, Jenny Lozano, and David Moreno; twenty-six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Louie graduated High School in 1958 and College from Fullerton College in 1974.

Louie was an Engineer for over 30 years. He worked in the Petroleum industry. In his free time, he enjoyed his die cast metal cars, playing solitaire, his craftsman tools, oldies music and wrestling.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at McWane Family Funeral Home, 350 N. San Jacinto Street, Hemet, CA 92543. Funeral Services will begin on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Harvest Christian Fellowship, 6115 Arlington Avenue, Riverside, CA 92504 and in honor of his service to his country in the United States Air Force, Louie will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA following the church service.
