Lydia June Cruz, 80 of San Jacinto, California passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at Manor Care in Hemet, California. She was born and raised in the City of Hemet by the late Harold and Olivina DeSoto. Lydia loved cared for her grandchildren and taking them to her favorite place in the world, Oceanside California. She enjoyed walking up and down the sand, the waves and siting on the beach, playing with her kids and grandchildren. Lydia was a diehard Larkers fan. She enjoyed watching the Lakers with all the stars throughout the years, Jerry, Wilt, Magic, Kareem, Kobe, Shaq, LeBron and Anthony. When she was younger, she loved to dance. Her family describes her as quiet, funny , caring and loving. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her. Surviving is her daughter, Christine Williams (Brett); sons Manuel Rodriguez (Kathy); Robert Cruz; Gilbert Rodriguez (Rosa Vera), sister Linda Moreno; brothers John and Gary De Soto. 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Services will be private.
