Manuel Landin Garcia, age 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in Hemet, CA. Manuel was born to Francisco and Manuela Garcia in San Antonio, Texas on Sunday August 8, 1931. He proudly served our country as a member of the United States Air Force during WWII. Manuel was a carpenter in the construction profession for more than 35 years. Manuel is survived by his children, Carmen Martinez, Becky Garcia, Mercy Dillard, Manuel Garcia, and Rene Torrez; 16 grandchildren, Desire, Andre, Paula, Jesse, Jennifer, Melissa, Maria, Juan, Robert, Celest, Manuel, Joseph, Andren, Monica, Anthony, and Andrew; and 12 great-great grandchildren. Manuel will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery 22495 Van Buren Boulevard Riverside, CA 92518 on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 10:00 am. Manuel touched many lives and will be truly missed by all who were honored to know him and who loved him.
