

On June 26, 2019 at 12:05 pm Marco William Smith was called home to be with the Lord. Marco was born to Thomas Smith and Evia Lee Colbert on August 28, 1954 in Los Angeles, CA. Marco received his GED in 1982 at the Adult School in the City of Corona-Norco CA. He also received many certificates from the State of California in Wastewater Treatment Operation, Maintenance, Treatment Plants and Operating Training. Marco was a well known employee for the Pasadena Unified School District as a custodian for 8 years and City of Pasadena as a Mantenance Assistance trainee for 3 years. He was last employed with the State of Califonia as a Highway Maintenance Worker for 5 years until he became disabled due to a vehicle accident. Marco developed a passion in life to ride motorcycles. He joined the Valiant Riders for 10 years and retired with the Sons of Light. Marco lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed fishing, mechanicing, cooking and especially talking. Marco was himself. He always spoke his truth whether you liked it or not. He touched the lives of many he came in contact with. Also, Marco was faithful on the Prayerline for over 15 years. He is preceded in death by his mother Evia Lee Colbert. He leaves to cherish his memories, wife Audrey Clayburn-Smith, four children; Aquanetta Smith, Zala Smith, Marco Smith II and O’mauri Mehki Smith. Two stepchildren; Ashley and Jumad Pinkney. Two grandsons; Zowah Jackson and Jeremiah Pinkney. And a host of sister and brother in laws, relatives and friends.
