A woman long-admired for her tenacious spirit and nurturing disposition, Marge earned the warm and profound respect of al those who knew her because of her unyielding strength and her unmatched compassion. She was a fighter in the truest sense, having overcome a life that at times could seem more challenging than joyful-including the early death of her son, Michael. Yet, ever the undauntable woman, Marge always found a way to approach the world with an optimistic sense of wonder and a deep commitment to the core belief that everyone deserved to be loved and cared for. She will forever be remembered for her distinct ability to serve as a driving, caring force for good in the lives of those she touched - most notably her husband, Jack, and their four sons.
Marge was born in Philadelphia in 1935 and raised in Croydon, Pennsylvania, where she and her husband started a family together. Soon after the birth of her four boys, Marge and Jack made Bristol Borough their new home. After their eldest son was stationed in San Diego, California during his service in the United States Navy, Marge and Jack picked up their northeastern roots and started a life together in Southern California, where she has since lived.
In addition to being a loyal wife, loving mother and grandmother, tremendous cook, and avid golfer, Marge was a skilled craftswoman, who cultivated a remarkable mastery in sewing, designing, and sculpting home goods.
Marge is predeceased by her husband of 55 years, John (Jack) Corrigan; her brother, Allen Tyson; her son, Michael Corrigan, and her daughter-in-law, Jacklyn Craig Corrigan.
