Born Sunday, August 15, 1926 in Los Angeles, California to Howard M. Heard and Marjorie S. Post. She was the wife of the late Hulet "Hugh" Tandy.
Marge was a Council-woman, and mayor for the city of Hemet in the early 1990's. She was also a member of the 7 Hills Bridge group. She enjoyed traveling worldwide, some of the countries that she visited were, Africa, Italy, England, Russia, and Yugoslavia. Marge also enjoyed swimming, playing card games, water skiing, square dancing, and arts & crafts. She enjoyed playing tennis from the time she was in high school until she was 80, but did not have a backhand she adapted and conquered by switching hands.
She is survived by her son Jeffrey and his wife Marilyn; a granddaughter, Christel Silva and her husband Rob; grandson, Travis Tandy; and her three great granddaughters, Mia and Brooke Tandy, and Kayln Silva.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions in her honor to the Alzheimer's Association.
