Mark Daniel Thompson

Our beloved son and brother passed away Friday, September 30th 2011. He was 32 years old and was born to Barbara and Danney Thompson in Salt Lake City, Utah. In 1990 Mark moved to Riverside, Ca., where he graduated from Arlington High School in 1997. Mark worked in the construction business for many years. Mark is survived by his mother Barbara Thompson Shumway and her husband Miles Shumway, his father Danney Thompson, his brother Jake Thompson, his two sisters Tonja Whitford and Miriam Shumway, their spouses Erin Thompson, Kevin Whitford and Jason Shumway, 10 nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins. Mark was kind and tender hearted, he inspired others to want to be like him. Mark's smile could light up any room and his love for life and for others ran very deep. The funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Menifee, located at 29725 Bradley Rd. Services are as follows: Viewing from 9am to 10:30am; Memorial service at 11am; Internment at Miller Jones Cemetery in Sun City.
