

Nora Christine Wright went to be with her Savior on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, in Hemet, California, at the age of 91. She was born to the late James H. and the late Vida (Browning) Thomas, in Dawson Springs, Kentucky, on Monday, January 23, 1928.
Nora was married to the love of her life, her best friend, George Washington Wright, for 62 years, before his passing in November of 2009. Her and her family would move every three years, due to George being in the military. They finally settled in Pasadena, California, in 1963, where they raised their children and grandchildren. Nora opened her own Day Care Center at her home. She was a very loving and kind hearted soul who enjoyed and cherished her family. Aunt Tina’s kitchen was a gathering place for family and friends, who enjoyed her cooking and company. Nora was very much involved in the Baptist Church especially with the child Evangelism ministry. Nora enjoyed playing the guitar and the piano. She will be missed by all that knew her and loved her.
Nora is survived by her loving children, Cheryl Robins, Kathy Roubian, Larry Wright, and Kim Miser; 14 caring grandchildren; and 13 adoring great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Vida; her sister, Dale; and her brother, Herschel.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019, at 11:00 AM, at Miller-Jones Mortuary, located in 1501 W. Florida Ave, Hemet, 92543, with a Reception to follow at 12:00 PM. Interment will be held privately at Riverside National Cemetery.
