Norma Jean Mongold

Norma Jean Mongold, age 92, of Hemet, California passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025. Norma was born in OK September 26, 1932, born to Vernon King and Dollie Peck in Bridgeport,OK. Fourth child of five. Surviving siblings, Inez Records of Anaheim, Ca. & James King of Hemet Ca. Surviving children (2)sons,Daniel Joseph Bourbonnais in Fort Wayne In. and Bruce Ellis Bourbonnais of Hawaii. As well as (2) daughters, Jennifer Leigh Bourbonnais of New Mexico and Lina Catherine Son of Hemet,Ca. Grandchildren, Marlayna Dooley, Michelle Bourbonnais and Mirina Bourbonnais, Dan Bourbonnais and Sean Bourbonnais, Kyle Woodward and Laura Woodward and nine Great Grandchildren.

She last worked as a medical transcriber. She was known to create countless crochet afghans and are offered as gifts of remembrance to those family members who may desire to receive them after the funeral.She was active in the Methodist Church. Contributing her skills in both sewing and crochet to create countless items for the regular church bazaars and fundraisers before age quieted her hands. She gently passed at 11:21 am 6-9-2025 of natural causes.

A visitation for Norma will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM A funeral service will occur Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 1501 W. Florida Avenue, Hemet, CA 92543. Followed by a graveside service 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery, 2555 S Santa Fe Ave, San Jacinto, CA 92583.
