Patricia Simpson

Patricia Rose Simpson (Brown) passed away on October 20, 2021, at 94 years of age. She was born April 6, 1927, to David and Maude Brown. Pat had many interests; she loved to play the piano, camping, assembling jigsaw puzzles, reading many types of books, and later in life, learning Spanish. Pat was formerly a telephone operator for Pacific Bell where she met the love of her life, Robert Simpson. Pat left her career to be a full-time mother and homemaker. When the children were grown, Pat returned to school earning her AA degree in General Studies and a certificate in Library Technology. She embraced her Catholic faith, making rosaries for the missions and friends and distributing communion to the homebound.

Patricia is survived by her loving children, Teresa Cruise (Randy) of Nuevo; Sandra Moore (Craig) of Menifee; and Paula Weller (Roger) of Utah; eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and two step-great grandchildren. Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Robert Simpson in January 2021.

The funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at St. Vincent Ferrer Church in Sun City, with the rosary at 9:30 a.m. Internment will be on November 18th, attended by immediate family.
