Peggy Joyce (Randolph) Lloyd, age 82, went to be with The Lord on July 21, 2017 at her home in Hemet CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Leslie Jr. and sister Nathalie. Peggy was the daughter of Leslie Randolph Sr. and wife Vera, of Redlands CA and was born in Stamford TX in Oct 1934. The family moved to Redlands in November 1934. Peggy started ballet and tap dancing and piano lessons at a very young age. She was giving private dance lessons at age 14, and continued that for several years. In 1952 Peggy graduated from Redlands high school and she was crowned Miss Yucaipa that same year. In 1954 she graduated from San Bernardino Valley College, and went on to Pasadena modeling school. In 1955 she married her high school sweetheart Noel, in Redlands. In 1956 Noel's job took them to Palm Springs. In 1957 the navy called Noel to active duty, and they were sent to NAS Barbers Point on Oahu , Hawaii where their son Ted was born in 1958. After being discharged from the navy in 1959 Peggy and Noel returned to Palm Springs where Peggy was employed at the local Bank of America. In 1960 they moved to Yucaipa CA where their daughter Linda was born in Redlands in 1962. In 1964 Noel's job moved the family to Hemet where Peggy and Noel have resided for 53 years.
Peggy's hobbies and interests over the years have included tennis, boating, camping, RVing, Holland America cruises, painting various nature scenes on rocks found on the Oregon coast and photography, to create wonderful memories we can all cherish.
Peggy touched so many lives and made so many friends along the way. She was also known to make one "mean" margarita. One thing she didn't appreciate was tennis opponents who lobbed too much.
Peggy really loved her family and was truly proud of her children and grandchildren for their accomplishments in their lives. She will be terribly missed by those who have loved her so much.
Peggy is survived by Noel, who was her loving husband for 61 years, son Ted (Rochelle), daughter Linda McKenzie (Jim) and Granddaughters Amanda & Melissa Lloyd, all of Hemet.
