My condolences to Remo's friends and family from one of his SDL colleagues. Though our time at work overlapped briefly, I knew of his work on cutting edge projects at SDL. I did have a chance to appreciate his openness, friendliness, and technical expertise from the few meetings we had together. 

I have such a heavy heart...
It was a pleasure working together and laughing a lot in the meantime. I will always remember your cheerful attitude and smile, Remo. 
Hard to believe how life comes and goes. I am out of words.

We are still working on Jongeneelen's codes. His work was the solid basis of our current daily work. We never met in person. His pass was shocking for us. Now reading his commit message, we feel very different, like chatting with a legend. Rest in peace. You will be missed.

My sincere condolences to family and friends or Remo. Remo was my mentor during his time working for Visma|Raet and I learned a lot from him. We had a lot of fun working together and outside business hours as well.

He will be missed!

So incredibly sad.. in our thoughts and hearts we're with Ryan, corina, oksana, laura, willem-jan, kyra, dion and bowy.. 

We have many memories of Remo when he stayed at our home on the farm. Gaming together, table tennis together or just chatting. It was always fun with Remo.

This photo was taken when Remo came to celebrate "Sinterklaas" with us. I can still remember this evening well. It was a beautiful memory.

We will miss him very much.

We shall forever cherish the memories of us traveling through the states as students and Remo and Laura hosting us in their home in California and us having a real American Rocky Road ice cream cake for the first time. Or the impromptu day trip to San Diego when Ryan was still a little boy. That years later Remo and Ryan traveled from far among family to attend our wedding in Canada.
