Richard Blas Polito

Richard proudly served as Sergeant in the U.S. Army for 2 1/2 years. At the time of his passing, he was married to his wife, Beverly Hanson. They were married for 15 years.

Previously, he was married to his first wife, Sharon, for 52 years, until her passing. Together they were blessed with 4 sons, Craig, Scott, Kevin, and Michael. He later would become a proud grandfather to Kaylee.

When Richard married Beverly, he was blessed with 3 more children. They came to love and respect Richard. Eventually, he welcomed 3 great-grandsons and 1 great-granddaughter into his life. Richard was an amazing, loving, and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

In his spare time, he really enjoyed watching baseball on TV and cheering on his favorite team, the "Dodgers!"

He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly; his children, Kevin (April) Polito, Michael (Kim) Polito, Chris (Mary) Hanson, Cheryl Hanson-Insua, and Michael (Jennifer) Hanson; his grandchildren, Kaylee Polito (Shawn Wilson), Allison (Rudy) Ramirez, Megan Caton, Keith (Kiera) Hanson; his great-grandchildren, Kylin Wilson, Bennett Ramirez, Clark Ramirez, and Josie Ramirez; his sister-in-law, Rosemarie Polito; and his niece, Jennifer (Paul) Gaulke. He was preceded in death by his sons, Craig and Scott; his brother, Joe; and his nephew, Ron.
