Rita Anita Tomson passed away at the age of 92, on Friday, May 2, 2025, in Hemet, California. She was born to Refugio Garcia, of Jalisco, Mexico and Liandra (Reyes) Garcia, of Jalisco, Mexico, on Wednesday, March 15, 1933, in San Jacinto, California.
Rita was a loving and dedicated mother. She was blessed with 5 children that would later make Rita a grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother as well. Her love for her family was immeasurable.
Rita is survived by her loving children, Lucy Kehl, John Luna, Margo Nichols, Elsa Pruitt and Gloria Luna; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and her nephew and niece that she raised as her children, Jose Luna and Maria Garcia.
