

Robert Lee Carson was born on June 3, 1931 in Houston, Texas to the union of Levi Carson and Verlie Watkins. He was an only child. Robert attended the Houston Texas Public School and Los Angeles Unified School District. Robert ran Track and Field; he possessed an extraordinary athletic ability.
At the age of nineteen, on March 28, 1952 Robert entered into the US Army. He served during the Korean War and was honorably discharged on March 5, 1954. For over twenty years Robert worked as a custodial engineer as he was employed by boeing and hilton hotels.
Robert accepted the Lord as his personal savior and was saved at an early age. He helped his father establish Palm Lane Church of Christ and other churches in the Riverside and Los Angeles counties. He was licensed minister and was know to oversee numerous revivals. He was very involved with the surrounding communities and in active orchestrating community service projects. Robert loved Country music and playing the guitar. He performed Gospel music with the mighty cloud of joy and other local music groups.
On January 10, 1965 Robert Lee Carson entered in holy matrimony with Dorothy Mae Green. They had a blessed marriage and were married for forty-nine years. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a teacher and motivator that inspired people to accomplish their goals.
Robert departed this life and entered eternal life on december 14, 2014 at riverside county regional dedical center in Moreno Valley, California. He is now resting in the arms of his Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves to forever cherish his memory his wife, Dorothy Carson, daughter, Ruby Carson and her husband Louis Crumby of San Jacinto; step-children, Charles Scott, J.C. Empraim, Terry Green, Don Ephraim, and Karen Emphraim; three grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
