Robert Fuller died an untimely death due to a medical misadventure on the blue moon in July. Bob met his soul mate and love of his life in 1957. His greatest joy in life was seeing his wife Peggy happy. Always quick to laugh and willing to share a drink and a story, Bob lived a joyful full life. Friends and family say Bob embodied the saying still waters run deep, he lived life to the fullest, seeking out extraordinary people and experiencing many adventures. Bob raced motorcycles in the 60's and 70's participating many times in the Barstow to Vegas race. His daughter has wonderful memories of riding on the back of a motorcycle, bumping along at break neck speeds across the desert. The family camped in the desert, explored abandoned mines and laughed, there was always laughter. As a banker in Long Beach, Bob helped his customers in every way possible, even being responsible for their care until their deaths. A humble man, Bob rarely discussed his adventures, he was a confidante to many and never shared their secrets. Many called him Dad. Bob is survived by his siblings, Art, Janice, Chester and Roger as well as his wife Peggy and daughter Terri. He was preceded in death by his parents Carroll and Beulah Fuller, as well as his friends Rudy, Norm, and the Johnson's. As rare as a blue moon, Bob left a lasting legacy of love and joy to all who knew and loved him.
Namaste
Remember Me
"Lover I'll see you one fine day
Another place, another way
Hold me close deep in your heart
And in that way we'll never part
Do the things we liked to do
If not for me than just for you
Tell our daughter I love her so
And show her all the love we've known
Smile and let your heart be free
Know you'll always be with me
Your love, it let me live again
And now anew you must begin
I'll be there for the things you do
And always be a part of you
You'll see me with each song you sing
As the twinkle in your wedding ring"
