Roccy George Rodia, age 89 of Sun City, entered eternal life on Wednesday, July 8, 2015. Born Thursday, May 6, 1926 in Naples, Italy, he was the son of the late Achilles Rodia and the late Matilda Salomini Rodia.
He was an Army Veteran of World War II. After returning home from Europe, Archie owned several commercial disposal businesses in the Los Angeles area for 35 years.
Surviving are son, Archie Rodia; daughters, Roclyn Kane, Dorothy Daerendinger-Rodia, Kathy Myers and Helen Salter; sisters, Edith Buzek and Marguerite Ferandez.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 18th at 11:00 AM in the Calvary Chaple Bible Fellowship located at 34180 34180 Rancho California Road in Temecula, California. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery located at 2161 S. Fullerton Road, Rowland Heights, California.
