Romayne Lyle Pawling, age 87, of Menifee, California passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Romayne was born on November 1, 1936 in Long Beach, California. She was the daughter of the late Ernest Glen Bynum and the late Lyle Elizabeth (Christiansen) Bynum. Romayne was preceded in death by her husband Jack S. Pawling. She lived a large portion of her life in Long Beach and then moved to Hemet, Ca, in 1992. She lived most of those years at Panorama Village, and then moved in with her daughter and granddaughter in 2021.
She is survived by her children; Cindy Mailes, David Pawling, Randy Pawling, Joseph Pawling, Sheryl Cree, and Kelly Sisk, her siblings Michelle Ashcroft and Debbie Lackman, 19 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service for Romayne will be held Friday, February 23, 2024 from 2:00 PM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518.
After the service, there will be a reception at 27156 Oncore Dr, Menifee, Ca 92585, starting around 3:30.
