

Ronald George Parker, 79 of Hemet, California passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at home surrounded by family and friends. He was born Friday, September 11, 1936 in Indio, California and was the son of the late George and Allie Bond Parker. He was married to the love of his life, Gail Parker for over 56 years. Ron loved to fish for bass in Diamond Valley Lake, the Colorado River, and Lake Hodges. He owned a bass tracker and loved to be out on the water. There are many pictures of his trips out on the water with his fellow bass fishermen. He liked to work with his hands and made his only lures. Ron would take all the grand kids out on the boat and teach them the art of bass fishing. He was known to use the pool as a casting ground for the grandkids to practice. Ron was known to say " Hmp, that's gooder than a dead chicken". His favorite food was tacos. His family describe him as a family man, cared for his children and grandchildren. Ron will be sorely missed by those who know him and love him. Surviving is his wife Gail Parker, son Brett Michael Parker and his wife Kelly, daughter Vicki Ann Parker, sister Beverly Mayerski and her husband John, 5 grand children, Ryan Dean, Heather (Dustin) Lyhons, James Weisen, Lindsay Parker and Joseph Parker, 2 great grandchildren, Chase Dean & Cayson Dean.
